BTS Jimin makes another history as his solo song “Serendipity Full Length Edition” has surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform on September 20. This makes Jimin the first Korean soloist with two songs exceeding 100 million streams. A record that is not easily achieved.

Serendipity Full Length Edition was released on August 24, 2018 among the tracks out of BTS Album Love Yourself: Answer. Serendipity is a soulful song which talks about finding love in an expected way and yet it is destined to be. In the recently concluded BTS Festa 2020, Serendipity is chosen by the fans to be the “top song which reminds them of Jimin“.

Jimin keeps making and breaking his own records proving the unparalleled  global music power of his songs. Jimin initially made record as his first solo song “Lie” surpassed 100 million Spotify streams on April 27, 2020.

Additionally, Serendipity has received admirations from professional artists including, Shawn Stockman, a member of the legendary R&B group Boyz II Men and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Khalid. Likewise, the dance choreography of the song has been covered by numerous idols and artists around the world.

Meanwhile, ARMYs show their appreciation and expressed their congratulatory messages for Jimin through tweets using #SerendipityFull100M and #RecordMakerJimin, both immediately trended in South Korea as of this writing.
